Overview

The prestigious Hippodrome de Uccle-Boitsfort will host the start and finish of the new distance: the 80 km around Brussels! A major challenge for ultra-trail enthusiasts in search of an extraordinary experience.

The first 5 and last 20 kilometers are laid out in the Forêt de Soignes, while the remaining 55 kilometers follow the route of the Promenade Verte around Brussels. The Promenade Verte, dear to Brussels Environment, connects the green spots on the outskirts of Brussels, including Parc Malou (Woluwe), Parc du Bon Pasteur (Erere), the Atomium, Parc du Roi Baudouin, Parc du Scheutbos (Molenbeek-Saint-Jean), Parc de Pede (Anderlecht), Parc du Bempts (Forêt) and more.

On arrival, the welcome village will open its doors to you in a warm and friendly atmosphere, to celebrate your achievements together and extend the experience beyond the finish line.

Mandatory equipment

It is also highly recommended to bring with you: a warmer garment, a jacket, a raincoat, a minimum of 20 € to compensate for the unexpected replacement clothing and socks, an elastic band allowing to make a bandage or a strapping (mini 80cm x 3 cm). Warning: Riders are likely to be checked at any time on the course. The absence of part of the mandatory equipment will result in immediate disqualification.

The prestigious site of the Hippodrome of Uccle-Boitsfort will once again be the scene of departures and arrivals for all distances. The 52k course will offer you a maximum of singletracks.

The trail immerses you in the Sonian Forest and takes you through numerous nature reserves to the Domain of La Hulpe before returning to the Uccle-Boitsfort Racecourse via numerous breathtaking trails in the heart of the green lung of the European capital.

When you arrive, the arrival village is transformed into a friendly place to welcome you and extend the after-race fun.

46 km

Présentation

Le parcours de 46 km est destinés aux traileurs expérimentés, même si le dénivelé est raisonnable. Il plonge dans la forêt de Soignes, via quelques beaux “singles”, contourne le superbe château de La Hulpe et traverse plusieurs réserves naturelles et site remarquables avant de vous ramener à l’hippodrome de Uccle-Boitsfort. Un parcours surprenant au cœur du poumon vert de la capitale européenne.

À votre arrivée, le village d’arrivées sera transformé en site convivial afin de vous accueillir et de prolonger le plaisir au-delà de la course.

En pratique

Matériel obligatoire

Il est aussi fortement recommandé d’emporter avec soi: un vêtement plus chaud, une veste, un imperméable, une somme minimum de 20€ afin de pallier les imprévus, un vêtement et des chaussettes de rechange, une bande élastique adhésive permettant de faire un bandage ou un strapping (mini 80cm x 3 cm). Attention : Les coureurs sont susceptibles d’être contrôlés à tout moment sur le parcours. L’absence d’une partie du matériel obligatoire entraînera la disqualification immédiate.

The trail immerses you in the Sonian Forest and takes you through numerous nature reserves and remarkable sites before returning to the Uccle-Boitsfort Racecourse through numerous breathtaking trails in the heart of the green lung of the European capital.

This course is perfect for half marathoners who like speed on varied and less traumatic terrain and marathoners who seek miles in the shade of the woods.

When you arrive, the arrival village is transformed into a friendly place to welcome you and extend the after-race fun.

This year, in addition to the rubalise, bicycle brigades (some paths of which are forbidden to them) and flagmen (especially for crossings), there will be colored arrows on the trail/walking routes to guide participants.
